This year, we had the privilege to participate and exhibit at the OGA 2019 (Oil and Gas Asia), South East Asia’s Biggest Petroleum Industry Exhibition. The three day event was held between 18th June and 20 June 2019, at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
We presented a comprehensive range of oil and gas protective workwear that is engineered to withstand industrial laundering, as well as provide excellent wear life, comfort and after-wash appearance. This year we came more prepared and ready with NFPA 2112 compliant garments as per UL. We exhibited the flame retardant garments made of inherent and treated fabrics which have a high demand in the Malaysian and South East Asian region. Our coveralls, jackets, trousers and balaclavas were in line with most of the products required by Oil giants like Petronas, Shell, Exxon and Total. We have also showcased our fire fighting jacket and bib-trousers which is a certified set. “We had participated in OGA 2 years back for the first time and got a very encouraging response from the visitors. Our participation this round is to introduce the expanded company portfolio to the industry as well as new technologies and products. Sustainability and quality are the keywords characterising the clothing range being featured by us at the expo” says Mr.Basant Lohia, Managing Director of TaraSafe International Pvt.Ltd.
This was our second year of participation and we were truly glad to find nothing but positive response and an overwhelming number of visitors compared to our debut presence in 2017. We had over 300 visitors at the booth. Of them, more than 70% of the visitors were directly associated with the Oil & Gas Sector. They had shown great level of enthusiasm and interest in our products and shared with us their positive feedback on the quality of our garments. Most of them were either users of safety garments or were part of the Health and Safety Team. They shared their present experience with low quality flame retardant clothing and were happy to see the level of our quality and technical know-how. Their feedback has given us lot of encouragement and confidence that we are walking on the right path.
We look forward to bring back our knowledge, experience and philosophy again in 2021!
